Our royalty software is built around titles and editions.
The intellectual property is called a “title”. Products derived from that intellectual property are called “editions”.
A title may be linked to one or many editions. Each title has a unique identifier called a title code.
Every edition is linked to a title. Each edition has an edition title. Each edition has a unique identifier called an ISBN.
Each edition has an edition format. Sample edition formats for a publisher are book, hardcover or paperback. Edition formats for a clothing manufacturer may be shirt, trousers, dress, or skirt. A music company may have edition formats called dvd, digital or vinyl.
