The Data & functions > Expenses view is where you can record the production and marketing expenses related to an intellectual property (title) or product (edition).
Our royalty software will use this information to generate a title profit and loss statement in a future update.
Expenses can be allocated to a job. This allows the user to analyze expenses by job; 1st printing, 2nd printing, etc.. Jobs are created in the Data & functions > Expense jobs view.
Expenses can be classified by expense class, expense category and expense type.
You can view or add expenses from the Data & functions Expenses view, Companies record > Activities tab > Vendor Expenses, Title record > More tab > Expenses, or Edition record > More tab.
