Expenses can be assigned to an Expense Class, Expense Category and an Expense Type.

Default Vendor Expense Classifications
From the Data & Functions > Companies > Company > Activities > Vendor Expenses, a vendors can be assigned a default expense class, category and type. When a vendor is selected the expense record will be populated by the default values, if any.
Expense Classification Lists
Expense classifications and their names can be edited from the Lists menu.
There are 4 expense classes; Design & development, Marketing, Other and Production. These classification names can be renamed. Only these four expense classes will show in summaries of class expenses.
