Our royalty software has two ways to email royalty statements to royalty recipients or their agents.
Method 1: Mass Email of Royalty Statements
The requirements for emailing royalty recipients their statement as part of a royalty run are:
- The recipient must have a valid email address entered in their author record.
- The send method in the administrative tab of the author record must be email.
- The royalty contract beneficiaries tab must specify whom is to receive the email statements; the author and/or their agent.
- The royalty schedule output tab must contain a link to a template file; an Outlook Template File or a text file, that will be used to generate the content of the email.
To send the emails from the Royalty run details record’s Run status tab press the Send Now button.
The Options window will appear. Select the desired options for this email run. Then press OK to generate the emails.
Method 2: Email an individual statement
You can mail an individual statement from the royalty statement record. Go to the Status tab. If a royalty statement was generated; there is a formatted statement file, select the Email… button. This will open a new email window in Outlook with the statement attached to it.
